OCG is acutely aware of the importance of relevant, timely and valid data as a vital ingredient for all strategic decisions. A key role OCG plays in all of its consulting work, but especially in strategic planning, is that of data gatherer and data interpreter.

Getting the right data, in the right format, at the right time in the hands of decision makers is critical to the success of any organization.

As gatherers and interpreters of data, OCG:

  • formulates questions and conducted countless focus groups to gather qualitative information from customers, potential customers, and key constituents;
  • formulates questions and conducted hundreds of interviews, generally with key constituents;
  • creates customized strategic planning questionnaires for staff, members, etc;
  • created and processes a unique staff satisfaction survey instrument for hundreds of clients, including CVBs, hotels, hospitals, etc; HMA/Employee Survey
  • OCG has worked closely with Longwoods International, a Toronto based research firm, on several of its CVB projects.
