A senior level human resource professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing and hospitality sectors, Nancy Watts-Vanderbunt recently joined OCG- International as a Senior Associate providing consulting services in a wide variety of human resource areas.

Using her extensive experience as a senior HR generalist, Nancy provides a wide range of services and support to existing HR departments or to organizations not large enough to afford the resources for an internal HR department, particularly those involved in destination marketing.

• HR Audit/Assessment – Reviewing an organization’s current practices and policies to determine what may be needed to ensure compliance with applicable laws as well as best business practices.
• Policies and Employee Handbooks – Creating and/or updating organizational policies and handbooks to ensure team members understand the organization’s mission, culture expectations and benefits.
• Job Descriptions – Working with management and team members to create clear and comprehensive job descriptions that define both the organization’s needs and the skills required for success.  They are the foundation for good hiring as well as the map to exceptional performance for team members.
• Change Management – Assisting organizations with the process, communications and other components that contribute to success when attempting to change culture, organizational structure or facing difficult issues (such as managing multi-generational teams, changing technology, downsizing, etc.)
• Managerial Coaching – Helping managers and supervisors conduct more effective communication sessions with their team members.  Whether delivering good or bad news, the preparation, setting, tone and tenor, documentation are all important elements to obtaining the desired outcome.
